Basics calls

Crypto trading class for beginners:
never bought crypto? Start here.

Our crypto trading class for beginners is the basics call: live, intimate and built for people starting from zero. Bill runs them every Tuesday at 12:00 PM and Thursday at 5:00 PM Eastern. Join as many as you want. Stay as long as you need. Nobody's keeping score.

Is it too late to learn crypto trading from zero?

No. And honestly? You're in better shape than the guy who downloaded an app on a Sunday afternoon and started clicking buttons.

You don't have bad habits yet, right? The people who struggle most aren't the beginners. They're the ones who skipped the basics, got lucky once and now think they know what they're doing. That's how a first account gets wiped out in a week.

So who is this for? The person who's willing to start at the start. Who isn't it for? The person who wants to skip straight to the good part... because there is no good part without the foundation.

The basics calls are still live in the real market. They're just more intimate, with people at the same stage as you, so no question is too basic to ask.

One more thing, so nobody's surprised on the first call. The risk-to-reward box on your chart is a measuring tool. It shows you the trade you planned. It doesn't find the trade for you. As Chad puts it, "I've even had some people say, 'Chad, I put [the risk-to-reward box] on my chart and it doesn't put the trade there for me.' Yes, that is true."

What you learn on the basics calls

The foundation, one piece at a time, live. Boring? A little. That's kind of the point.

  • How to read candlesticks

What each candle is telling you, and why one candle on its own tells you almost nothing.

  • How to set leverage properly

Leverage gets chosen last, after the stop and the size. We show you why, and how to set it. Most beginners do it backwards.

  • Your first position in a mock account

A demo account with no real money, so your first mistakes cost you NOTHING.

  • Your first trend line

Drawing it, reading it and knowing when it's broken.

  • Using TradingView

Setting up your charts so you can follow along on every other live session.

  • The foundation

Position sizing, risk to reward and where the stop goes. No strategy until this is in.

When are the beginner basics calls?

Two a week, live, in Eastern time:

  • Tuesday, 12:00 PM ET with Bill
  • Thursday, 5:00 PM ET with Bill

Join as many as you want, for as long as you need. Nobody pushes you out before you're ready, and nobody holds you back once you are.

What happens after the basics?

The basics calls sit inside Phase 1 of our new-trader roadmap, the foundation. From there you pick your first strategy, trade it in a mock account and join the live trading sessions with Niko, Chad and the coaches.

That's the order. Skip a step and you'll end up coming back for it anyway.

Are there crypto classes near me?

Our classes are online, on Zoom, so near you is wherever you've got a laptop and an internet connection. Use a desktop or laptop if you can. Learning charts on a phone screen is a lot harder. Trust us on that one.

The basics calls are part of the Crypto Renegades Mastermind. Want to start on your own first? The 5-Day Trading Challenge in our Skool group takes you from account setup to your first trade. For the self-study version, read how to learn crypto trading. Every option is on the services page.
